QA Team Leader

What will you do?

As a QA Team Leader, you will be instrumental in:

• Leading and building the Team: You will be responsible for creating, supporting, and developing team members, as well as participating in recruitment processes alongside HR.
• Shaping the testing approach: You will co-create and develop quality standards, standardize testing processes, and foster a strong quality culture within the organization.
• Ensuring organizational quality: You will create and implement QA procedures, define testing strategies and scenarios, analyze requirements and test documentation, conduct audits, and monitor the compliance of delivered products with quality expectations.
• Assigning specialists to projects: You will allocate team members to projects based on current company and project needs.
• Driving change: You will have a real impact on the organization's development, planning of development activities, and improvement of internal processes.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in a QA leadership role or a strong track record as a senior QA professional ready for a leadership step.
• Possesses process-oriented thinking and innovative ideas for improving the daily work of the testing team.
• Is highly quality-conscious – pays attention to details, enjoys analyzing, and seeks better solutions.
• Is proficient in communication with others: able to collaborate, share knowledge, and gather information from various project stakeholders.
• Is comfortable with documentation and open to learning various formats.
• Is self-organized and able to support others when needed.
• Is familiar with testing tools (e.g., Postman, DevTools, SQL)
• Has English proficiency (B2+) for smooth communication and reading documentation, and Polish (mandatory).
• Has at least 5 years of experience in manual testing, with extreme attention to detail, precision, and analytical thinking, especially in comparing designs vs. UI.
• Has hands-on experience in preparing test scenarios and test cases.
• Has extensive experience working with bug tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, YouTrack).
• Has solid knowledge of SQL basics and experience with relational databases.
• Has significant experience in regression testing and mobile testing (Android, iOS).

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in test automation with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of REST API testing (Postman).
• ISTQB certification.
• Understanding of Azure Cloud.
• Basic programming skills.
